Standard Enthalpy Change of Neutralization.


∆Hneut is the enthalpy change when one mole of H+ ions from an acid reacts with one mole of OH- ions from an alkali to form 1 mol of water under standard conditions.

H+ (aq) + OH-(aq) → H2O(l)
